According to the Goal, Chelsea have agreed a deal to bring Roma playmaker Radja Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The source reports that Chelsea will pay £28 million for the Belgium international player. It also states that Nainggolan has sign a five-year deal with the former EPL chamions.
Goal.com are sure that the player will become Antonio Conte’s first signing.
After weeks of speculation, Chelsea was finally announced the appointment of Antonio Conte as first team head coach.
The club announced that the former Juventus coach signed a three-year contract and will begin work in London after leading Italy in this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament. The former Italian league title winning coach expressed his happiness at his appointment.
The 46-year-old Italian said: “I am very excited about the prospect of working at Chelsea Football Club. I am proud to be the coach of the national team of my country and only a role as attractive as manager of Chelsea could follow that.”

Goal reports: “Chelsea’s deal for the box-to-box midfielder has been thrashed out over the last 48 hours with Roma and the player’s representatives. Roma’s director of sport Walter Sabatini was spotted outside Stamford Bridge on the 7th April and set up a meeting with Chelsea’s transfer bosses and it was understood that the Belgian midfielder was Conte’s number one target to strengthen his midfield. The signing of Nainggolan is a statement of intent as Chelsea look to get their business done as early as possible.”
Chelsea and Roma won’t confirm a deal until the end of the Premier League and Serie A season.
